A junkie finds redemption through the prayers of a four-year-old girl.

The NFL quarterback and his wife share how they met and what kept them together in spite of their personal and professional struggles.

Actress Sandra Bullock, who plays the lead role, said she was initially reluctant to work with Leigh Anne since she’d has had less than positive experiences with Christians.

“People use it [Christianity] as a banner, and then they don’t do the right thing,” she told Straight.com.

However, Bullock later had a change of heart.

“I feel I have finally met someone who practices but doesn’t preach,” she said. ”I now have faith in those who say they represent a faith.”

So why did the couple reach out to Oher?

“Because he needed some clothes. That’s all it really was. Then he needed a place to sleep. The depths of need never stopped. And she got so far into it, she couldn’t get out of it. And she fell in love with him,” Sean Tuohy told the Chronicle.

Lets all pray for the families that lost a love one in this tragic incident.. Lets also pray for our country and pray over our President Obama.

CBNNews.com - The atheist known for trying to remove the phrase “one nation under God” from the Pledge of Allegiance also wants to ban references to God during the Presidential inauguration.

Michael Newdow filed a lawsuit this week to have “so help me God” removed from the oath of office.

He believes the phrase and invocation prayer to be given by Pastor Rick Warren are unconstitutional.

Peter Sprigg of the Family Research Council disagrees.

“Having a simple prayer at an inaugural ceremony doesn’t come anywhere close to” violating the establishment clause in the First Amendment, he told Fox News.

“If a lawsuit like this were to succeed, we would in effect be establishing atheism as the national religion,” Sprigg added.

Newdow sued to remove references to God from inaugurations in 2001 and 2005, but lost both cases.
